The Social Impact and Community Engagement students participated in our “community build” activity today! In this activity, the students were split up and tasked to build the best community with their resources and money. The twist however, was that the highest economy group, had the most land, resources and cooperation with our team advisers (who acted as police and building committees) while the lower economy groups had fewer and less cooperation. The whole idea behind the activity was to show the students that they needed to remove the barriers between communities to make real change!
