This activity stressed the importance of clearly communicating ideas in multiple ways. Often times in the engineering industry, a product is built in locations around the world independent from one another. Teams of engineers must know how to communicate their requirements across language barriers, cultural differences, and time zones. This challenges them to appreciate the importance of communication and the added difficulty of having a physical limitation.
