The management team simulation is a college- level, interactive exercise designed to give students a comprehensive understanding of building a company. The simulation is an opportunity for students to apply specific business models and theories learned in lectures throughout the session. Students determine how much capital to invest and product specifications in the research and development section. They must also determine how to market their product and utilize finance models to set a competitive price. Finally, teams work to determine a capacity scale while also balancing the workflow between labor and machinery.
